Sri Vidya – The Eternal Energy

Om Srimatre Namah

Awakening to Non Dual Consciousness

When the Divine Mother casts Her compassionate glance, the infinite powers of Parameshwara begin to unfold within the yogi. What was once dormant becomes luminous. The seeker who walks this sacred path gradually deepens his concentration, refines his awareness, and begins to taste a quiet, balanced spiritual joy.

Through sincere practice, the aspirant experiences four stages of conscious absorption, known as the samprajnata samadhis. In these states, the subtle Yogini energies assist the seeker, guiding him inward toward greater clarity and union.

The first is Savitarka Samadhi. Here, the Yogini energies remain near the seeker’s awareness. The yogi experiences focused contemplation. Thoughts still arise, but they are disciplined and directed. The mind begins to steady itself.

The second is Nirvitarka Samadhi. In this state, the Yogini energies merge more intimately with the seeker. His concentration becomes deeper, purer. The mind’s agitation diminishes further. Silence begins to bloom within.

The third is Savichara Samadhi. Now the seeker begins to dissolve into the Yogini. Reflection becomes subtle and luminous. The yogi experiences the divine presence as a living reality within his own consciousness.

The fourth is Nirvichara Samadhi. Here, the distinction between yogi and Yogini fades. There is no longer reflection and reflected. There is only oneness.

These four states together are known as Sabija Samadhi, a state where subtle impressions still remain in the mind. Beyond this lies the supreme state — Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

In Nirvikalpa, all seeds of doubt, all latent impressions, all mental residues are dissolved completely. What remains is profound inner stillness. A silence so complete that it cannot be described. A peace that is not dependent on circumstances.

The Divine Mother pervades the entire universe through Her three primary powers — Iccha Shakti, the power of will; Jnana Shakti, the power of knowledge; and Kriya Shakti, the power of action. She exists within the individual body and within the cosmic body alike. Those who love Her with mind, speech, and action are freed from bondage by Her grace.

A seeker surrenders to the Mother in twelve sacred ways:

Meditating upon Her as one’s true Self.

Striving to receive Her grace.

Chanting Her mantras and divine names.

Seeing Her presence in all directions.

Constantly contemplating Her.

Demonstrating obedience and devotion to Her.

Completely surrendering to Her.

Understanding Her divine nature.

Praising Her.

Taking refuge in Her.

Worshiping Her.

Listening with reverence to Her qualities and glories.

These twelve modes of devotion correspond to the twelve subtle measures of the sacred syllable Om: A, U, M, Ardha Chandra, Bindu, Nirodhika, Nada, Nadanta, Shakti, Vyapini, Samana, and Unmana.

The twelfth, Unmana, is the most exalted state — the transcendental seat of the Supreme. In this state, the yogi moves beyond mental constructs and enters spontaneous divine awareness.

Immersed in devotion and attentive listening to the subtle inner sound, he is carried into supreme bliss. Fear dissolves. Duality disappears. Only the eternal energy of Sri Vidya remains — radiant, infinite, and beyond description.
