Grand dad n Grand son Strange Heal..

One day, in front of a well-known restaurant, a young man slowly helped his ninety-year-old grandfather out of the car. With steady patience, he supported him step by step and guided him to a quiet two-seater table in the corner, carefully helping him sit down.

“Tell me, Grandpa… what would you like to eat?” the grandson asked gently.

“I love mutton,” the old man said with a faint smile, “but I have no teeth left. How can I eat it?”

“Oh, that’s easy,” the grandson replied warmly. He called the waiter and ordered a plate of very soft mutton kheema. “Make it tender,” he added. “And bring fresh chicken soup first.”

Within minutes, the soup arrived.

The grandson placed a clean white towel around his grandfather’s neck and slowly fed him spoonful by spoonful. Some of the soup dribbled around the old man’s mouth; the grandson wiped it tenderly with a handkerchief, without the slightest discomfort.

Soon, the mutton kheema arrived.

It took time. Each spoonful was slow. But the grandson never showed impatience. He chatted cheerfully, cracked jokes about Grandma, and lovingly revived memories of the old man’s late wife.

As those memories resurfaced, joy filled the grandfather’s eyes — along with silent tears.

Around them, people in the restaurant stared curiously. The young man didn’t care. After paying the bill, he gently helped his grandfather up and walked him back to the car.

The old man’s son and daughter-in-law were good people. They took proper care of him and monitored his health strictly. They avoided giving him rich foods, fearing it might harm him.

But the grandson was different.

Whenever he visited, he would take his grandfather out for drives, treat him like a child, feed him ice creams and favorite snacks. Even if his father objected, he would say, “It’s just for one day, Dad. I’ll take care of him.” Before bedtime, he would give him fruit juice and medicine to help digestion.

Strangely, the old man — who usually complained about aches and discomfort — became energetic and lively whenever his grandson visited. Not a single complaint. The father would smile quietly, observing the change.

One day, unable to contain his curiosity, the father asked his son:

“Why do you make Grandpa so happy every time you come? Do you love him that much?”

The grandson’s answer was simple — yet profound.

“Dad… when I was little, you and Mom were always busy with work. Grandpa and Grandma raised me with so much love. Grandpa would pick me up from school, buy me whatever I asked for, shower me with affection. Sometimes I would spoil my clothes, and they would never scold me. I still remember how much they cared for me.”

“What can I give them now in return?”

“Grandma is no longer with us. So whenever I come, I spend at least one full day with Grandpa. I relive my childhood. I keep those memories alive.”

Hearing this, the father’s eyes welled up.

“It’s not just your memories,” he said softly. “The moment you arrive, I see life return to your grandfather’s eyes. Watching you makes me realize how much I owe him.”

He paused.

“And when I see you caring for him, I also see our own old age ahead of us… beautiful, dignified, and full of love.”

“You are great, my son.”

Note:

In an age where most people run endlessly behind money and status, families that protect such bonds are truly living in heaven on earth.
